If that were the case then all the Americans cruising in the Med must have had to travel first to Europe and book with a European TA? I think you've been misinformed. I am so sorry i meant when an European wants to book an european cruise ( msc) ,msc does not accept it.They refuse it and want europeans to book through a european t.a.Of course they will accept Americans booking through an American travel agency. kobecat Posted February 15, 2010 #4 Share Posted February 15, 2010 Unfortunately lots of the cruise lines do this including Princess and MSC. The American TAs with their far superior pricing are only permitted to book US and Canadian citizens (and also citizens from Mexico I believe). The Australians, Europeans and British have to pay more for the same product - it hardly seems fair but this topic has been bashed to death on these boards.
