Triumph boarding question

CruiseMagic

Recommended Posts

We would like to get on the Triumph as early as possible. The Carnival book shows embarkation as 1:30 p.m. Is this true or do they usually begin boarding earlier? What time does the terminal in port open? Should we plan on arriving as soon as it opens.

What services will be available when we get on the ship -- we are hoping to have a light breakfast, get to the port and onto the ship and have some lunch.

Any advice for a smooth process getting on the ship will very much be appreciated!!

I got there around 11:00 and was on board by about noon. They allow boarding to start as soon as all the disembarking passengers have cleared out and the ship is ready for the new passengers. In my experience, that's around 12:00 if everything goes according to schedule.

*IF* all goes well with the previous debarkation, boarding usually commences around noon.

Be forewarned that your cabin *might* not yet be available to you if you board that early. Be prepared to schlep your carryon luggage with you to the lido buffet.
