Need more Island/Coral input

On the Island, would you choose Caribe Deck C-233 or Dolphin Deck D-624? Please comment on your reason for the preference. Thank you.

On the Island, would you choose Caribe Deck C-233 or Dolphin Deck D-624? Please comment on your reason for the preference. Thank you.

There are reasons for both. C-233 will be towards the front of the ship and more convenient to the buffet area (which on the Island is at the front of the ship) and the Princess Theater but if you are sensitive to motion, D624 would be the better cabin for you. If it were me, I'd choose D624 as I prefer to be towards the back of the ship even though I've never had motion sickness.

Thanks. Also, D-624 has a larger balcony. I am leaning that direction. My only hesistation is going portside. I was almost convinced starboard was a little more desireable.

Go for C233, D624 may be subject to vibration. On my plan both cabins are the same size, [small]. However from C233 there is no direct elevator to the lower decks.

I'll toss in my opinion here too ... I'd go for the Dolphin deck towards the back of the ship. You'll have a large balcony in the back of the ship where you'll be able to see either side. Being closer to the back makes for quick trips to "see" when something is on the other side of your balcony's location.

We were on the Island in December cabin number D714. I thought the back was an ideal spot with more privacy.

 

We loved our cruise on the Island!
