Fiction set in Chichen Itza?

We're going in a few weeks to Chichen Itza while in Progreso on our cruise. Could anyone suggest a novel that is set here? My online searches have been less than helpful. I'd love to read a book that will get me "in the mood"!

Check Amazon. I found one for Chichen Itza and one for Uxmal.

Not fiction, but Richard Halliburton's New Worlds to Conquer includes a description of his visit there in the 1920's. He actually jumped into the sacrificial well -- TWICE! :eek: :eek:

If I was to write a book about our visit in February it would be titled "Call of the DOLLAR". The last time I was pestured that much by vendors was in Jamaica twenty years ago---have not returned there siince.It is such a shame as Chitzen Itza could be very special if the Mexican governement would get the vendors under control.My wife was so disappointed in our tour.
