Sunset Celebration in Key West

Everyone keeps telling us not to miss the Sunset Celebration in Key West when we are there on the Magic March 7. How far is Mallory Square from where the ship docks? Will we be able to see most of the performers before we have to head back to the ship? Is it worth seeing?

Mallory Square is about a two minute walk from the dock. The performers start about an hour before actual sunset (which will be 6:33 pm on March 7th) and the shows continue pretty much until all the spectators go away. You should have plenty of time to take in all the action, especially if the Captain decides to extend shore time and depart later than planned. Last February, departure was delayed until about 1am to allow the crew some extra shore time.
