Zip lining in Ketchikan September 2010

We are going to be in Ketchikan Sept. 2010 on a HAL (Oosterdam) cruise and would like to do the zip lining tour. Everything I have read tells me there is one for smaller children and one more geared for adults. Bear Creek I think. My question is, there is mention of rappeling at the end of the tour and/or a slide. We (wife and myself) are faily active 57 and 58 year olds but the rappelling has me a little concerned.

 

When I rappelled back in my teens it took alot of arm strength that I am afraid is no longer there in abundance now days. Is this true rappelling or are you still in the harness and you just let yourself down easily? Anyone done this before?
