brunolvr Posted January 20, 2005 #1 Share Posted January 20, 2005 Does anyone know where we can get a good map of the Inside Passage, showing latitude and longitude? Thanks!
seattlecruiser Posted January 20, 2005 #2 Share Posted January 20, 2005 There is a great map that shows latitude and longitude that comes with the Princess Alaska book "The Alaska Cruise Companion".
brunolvr Posted January 26, 2005 Author #3 Share Posted January 26, 2005 I know some of the ships sell maps of the inside passage in their gift shops. Has anyone bought one of these maps? Do you know if they show the laditude and longitude info?
GloriaF Posted January 28, 2005 #4 Share Posted January 28, 2005 Try ordering state info from Alaska. I have an "Alaska Official State Vacation Planner" book. The address is Official Alaska State Vacation Planner, Dept 2101 P. O. Box 196710, Anchorage, AK 99519-6710 or http://avp.travelalaska.com We've been collecting AK info for a couple of years, and I do have some good maps but don't know from which mailings. Maybe you'll get a good map from AVP, certainly you'll have other good info. It's free and worth ordering.
jdr2alaska Posted January 28, 2005 #5 Share Posted January 28, 2005 I tried your avp.travelalaska.com URL and it didn't work, but I went to http://www.travelalaska.com/ and clicked on the link for the Free Vacation Guide. Thanks for the heads-up! JR
