Does anyone know what happened to this bar/restaurant? We've enjoyed going there on several cruises. Last December when we where there it was boarded up but the sign was still there (well sort of...the surfboard was laying sideways on the ground). I'm hoping it was just closed during the construction on Front St. Does anyone know if it will re-open?

I thought I read on another thread that the owner had become ill and was forced to close. I don't know for sure.

Were just there on the 9th and it is closed. Heard different reason - that it had to do with property and land ownership but was kind of "tipsy" at that point and don't remember the whole reasoning. There are several beach bars open though along Front Street open now as well as DIVI which is about a 5 min drive from the pier.
