Embracedbylife Posted February 18, 2010 #1 Share Posted February 18, 2010 Hi. I'll be sailing on Feb 28th on the Caribbean Princess to Aruba, Bonaire, Grenada, Dominca, St. Thomas return from San Juan. I can't remember from my cruise in 2005 if we ever wore jeans at all at night - So far I'm only planning on having the one pair of jeans that I will travel in to San Juan from home. I don't recall needing jeans at night on the ship, but perhaps i'm mistaken. With MUTS, and other outdoor things to enjoy at night should I consider packing another pair. I have mostly cotton pants and one sweater in case I need it.
NotWthOutablcony Posted February 18, 2010 #2 Share Posted February 18, 2010 Lol, I can't speak for the Southern, but we took both the Western and the Eastern and even at night it was WARM! Pretty nice sitting out on the balcony at night though :D I couldn't imagine needing an extra pair, if need be they have the laundromat. I always bring 2 pairs just in case, the one I wear onto the ship and another that I pack, but I usually only wear the one pair, yes, I'm an overpacker
Embracedbylife Posted February 18, 2010 Author #3 Share Posted February 18, 2010 Thanks so much! That's what I was thinking - i don't remember wearing them nor to I remember needing a sweater at night either :) I think i wore a sweater inside though because of the air conditioning, but not complaining about that:D LOL. Thanks again!!:p
D&N LUV 2 TRAVEL Posted February 19, 2010 #4 Share Posted February 19, 2010 We only wore jeans flying to San Juan. Never had a need to wear them again as we found it quite warm at night. If you are cool when watching MUTS they have blankets to keep you warm. If you aren't quite sure, pack another pair or use the laundry facilities. TorontoTL Posted February 19, 2010 #5 Share Posted February 19, 2010 We just got off the CB a week and a half ago, sigh, and can tell you that at night the temperatures when we were on outdoors was a balmy 26*C. Thus very warm and it was very nice to be outdoors at night in shorts and a tshirt.

DrivesLikeMario Posted February 19, 2010 #8 Share Posted February 19, 2010 Nope, definitely don't bring jeans. You'll bake in them, even at night. Hope you have the glorious weather we had in Dec. We didn't even get one drop of rain the whole week. Absolutely fantastic cruise! Enjoy yours! :)
nyjetsfans Posted February 19, 2010 #9 Share Posted February 19, 2010 Hot Hot Hot, Just back great trip but it is warm. Forget the Jeans go dress capris or skirt at night/short sleeve shirts. Only need jeans for leaving home and going back! Forget about being cold (yeah!)
