I read they give you a glass with the pass. Does this mean you only get fountain sodas? If so do you need to use the same glass the whole trip? Does the soda pass include any bottle or can drinks?

The package only includes fountain soda. They will give you a reusable cup, it is insulated and has a flip lid. However, you don't have to use it. When you show your card at a bar they will give you a regular glass.

we have never been given fountain drinks on carnival it has always been canned and quite a few times they have given us the whole can.
