TAXI from SEATAC to Cruise Pier

We have priced the shuttle buses from SEATAC to the cruise pier for our Alaska cruise, and wonder if we would be better off to take a taxi. Can previous travelers please advise what two of us with luggage may expect to pay for a taxi ride from SEATAC to the cruise pier?

Looks like about $50 with a small variance depending on which Pier you are headed to (probably about the same as a town car and less than a shared shuttle)

From what I have found out. You are better off getting town car service both for expense and convenience. Taxi prices are estimate based on no traffic delays. Town car service is flat rate no matter the traffic.

I'm not sure what a taxi cost, but for our cruise on June 1st I have arranged for a town car transport from the hotel to the ship, the cost is $65.00 which includes tip for driver.We decided not to go the taxi route due to the fact they charge you for time stuck in traffic or that is what I've heard. What I've read you come out better getting a town car.
