? to people that have cruised Solstice

I was just wonder when we get off the Solstice in Port Everglades will there be taxi's waiting for people or do we need to call one right when we get ready to off the ship? We're going to need to get to the airport as soon as we can and I was just wondering. We're always sailed out of Port C on Carnival and knew what to do. This is our first time on Celebrity. Thanks for your help.

There are plenty of taxis waiting for disembarking passengers at the Port Everglades cruise terminal. And it's a short cab ride to the airport.

yes, the taxis are lined up waiting. It's actually a lot quicker than getting the bus transfers. They disembark passengers according to their flight time, so you should be with one of the first groups that disembark. If you take your own luggage off of the ship yourself you might even get off quicker... Enjoy your trip! :)

I remember being lucky and getting the Port Everglades FREE shuttle to the airport after my cruise on Solstice. I don't know if it's still there, but definitely look for it!

What is the cab cost from terminal to airport?

There are also some vans that are shuttle "taxis" to the airport. If you are in a hurry - don't get into one of these as they take a while to fill up. They are less expensive ...but there is a wait to fit everyone on board along w/ their luggage! :eek:
