Ship Pickup or Tenders?

We will be in Belize on the Dream on 3/10/10. Do any of the tours (Carnival or private) pick you up at the ship, thereby bypassing the tenders? Or do you have to take the tenders, then pick up another boat to the Cayes,etc?

One of the ship's excusions for snorkeling will pick up at the ship. But all land based ship tours meet you at the pier as do most private tours and as they also have pax from other ships. Water taxis to Caye Caulker and San Pedro do not stop a ships.
