HELLO Today I was checking out for hotels prices for August 14 to stay one night in San Pledroas go on Mariner of the Seas on August 15. What I like to know is that is this a wise thing to pay advance in order to get a cheaper rate? I would be scare to use that as I am not there to use the room until August. OR is this a good thing?

You can put a room on hold at the Crown Plaza and then at 15 days before you want to use it, convert the room to a pre-pay and save the difference. That's what they told us to do.

I've been trying and trying to get CP on Priceline and have gone as high as $105. The prepay amount is $144 and then I KNOW I'm getting CP. We're sailing in about 3 weeks so at this point -- I think I'll just keep what we have and convert.
