Anybody just off an Eastern Carribean Cruise? Weather?

My husband and I are cruising the Eastern carribean in 12 days. Since we are from NY where is it still cold and snow covered, we are wondering how to pack. Are the nights at sea cold or warm? should we pack light jackets / sweaters or is that unnecessary? Thank you for any advise you may have.
