Hyatt or Marriott Suites Hotel - Miami?

We are a family of 5 that has narrowed our hotel choice to either: (a) Springhill Suites Miami Airport South (Marriott); or (b) Summerfield Suites Miami Airpot (Hyatt). We won't have a car and will be taking an airport shuttle to the hotel; and probably a cab to POM.

 

Which is the better choice based on the following:

  1. Most comfortable sleeper/sofa option for the "5th wheel?"
  2. Better area to catch a bite at night (nothing fancy) -- both probably via hotel shuttle (3 milie radius)?
  3. Generally nicer facility, neighborhood, whatever?
