Reliable Tour Guide in Athens

Hi everyone..looking for a reliable tour guide in Athens, pick up from ship, tour all day, drop off at hotel. We are four and would like to spend something less than the national debt. Seems Greece wants to make up for their economic woes by charging so many Euros!!! Thanks, Arlene;)

We would very very highly recommend Athens by Taxi, run by the unforgettable George the Taxi Driver.

Punctual, immaculate cars (the drivers were immaculate too), and they don't farm you out to drivers they don't know (something you need to be careful of in Greece).

 

If George sends you out with his nephew, or cousin......it really is a blood relation. The new guy will be competent and reliable, and best of all, he will know Athens like the back of his hand (as all Georges' Drivers do).

 

They will customize the tour to your exact specifications (i.e. Mary likes to be near a rest room every hour or so, George refuses to enter a Museum without air conditioning), and we liked the price very much.

We did exactly that with Spiros from athenstaxidot net and were extremely happy with him. He was pleasant and knowledgeable, and timed everything very well. He found us a great place to stand to see the changing of the guard.
