jlijny Posted February 24, 2010 #1 Share Posted February 24, 2010 How much time should I allow to see both Grouse Mountain and the Capilano Suspension Bridge? I also have to figure out how I get to each. I will be leaving the Pan Pacific Hotel going to Capilano, and then from Capilano to Grouse. With traveling times, seeing each sight, and lunch....will that take the entire day?

For comparison the tours that include Grouse and Cap are right around 6 hours
jlijny Posted February 24, 2010 Author #3 Share Posted February 24, 2010 Thanks. Do you know how long it will take me to get from the Hotel to Capilano? How long will it take me to get from Capilano to Grouse?
Urban trekker Posted February 24, 2010 #4 Share Posted February 24, 2010 Use our Translink web site to try and get a determination of how long each segment will be - for your starting point you can use Waterfront Station or Canada Place or SeaBus terminal - they are all the same. When you get to Grouse it takes 8 minutes to get to the top of the mountain on the Skyride http://www.translink.ca/ http://www.grousemountain.com Hope this helps Cheers Dennis
Urban trekker Posted February 24, 2010 #5 Share Posted February 24, 2010 The preferred way to get to Grouse is to take the SeaBus from Waterfront Station across to Lonsdale Quay: http://www.lonsdalequay.com/ then catch the bus to Capilano Bridge http://www.capbridge.com/index.html When finished there - cross the street and continue onto Grouse http://www.grousemountain.com Hope this helps some more Cheers Dennis

From Canada Place, walk 2 blocks east to "Waterfront Station" and buy yourself an all day transit pass ($9). Board "SeaBus" which crosses Burrard Inlet to North Vancouver, and on the north side pick up the #236 bus which goes right to Grouse Mtn and right past the suspension bridge. Get On, Get Off to your heart's content. Reverse the process to get home. Buses are clean and safe in Vancouver
