PVP is now a CVS....now what?

Tried forever to reach my PVP today & finally emailed. Response was that they have now become a Cruise Vacation Specialist and can't make outgoing calls or emails. I'm guessing they just handle 'call center style' incoming random phone requests. I know no one can give names on here, but how do I go about finding a new, good, helpful PVP?

There are numerous good ones. You need to call and if your happy stick with them and if not ask for another one. Good Luck!! .

Okay, so this is slightly off topic, but I didn't want to create a new thread and have people jump down my throat about it!

 

PVP- What is there job? Are they sales agents or are they travel agents for Carnival?

 

Reason- I just applied for my Past Guest Number because I plan on booking the Magic in the Med next summer. About 1 week later I started getting at least one phone call per day from someone identifying themself as my own Personal Vacation Specialist.

 

If this is indeed a position in which they are there to help me, fabulous, I think its great touch!

 

BUT if it is a glorified salesperson, I'm a bit aggrevated by that because I hate sales pressure/pitches.
