Dinner reservations

I know the restaurants that require dinner reservations are La Terrazza, Le Champagne, Stars Supper Club, Seishin and Hot Rock (Pool Grill). I have heard that the second night of cruising is the first formal night which is the Captain's party. We are on a 7 night cruise. Would it be best to reserve one of the above restaurants or eat at The Restaurant that has open seating? Looking forward to your opinions. Thank you, Linda

It really depends on what you want. If you like the idea of dressing up, a slight sense of occasion and perhaps joining several others at a larger table, the restaurant may be for you. If that's not your idea of a good time and/or you'd prefer a quiet meal in a smaller venue with just the two of you, one of the other venues may be a better choice. Personally I like the restaurant on formal nights.
