Tubing in Caverns Excursion?

So I have been to Cozumel 4 times, and have only gotten off the ship once. On our last visit, our table mates at dinner mentioned they did a tubing excursion through some caverns. I've looked through Carnival's available excursions and I dont see anything like it. Any idea what this is, and is it worth doing?

That excursion would take place on the mainland. You'd take a ferry over to the mainland then visit one of the Cenotés. Unless the cruiseline offers it as an excursion, I personally wouldn't leave the island on my own to do it.

 

If I was staying on the island, yes it would be worth it.

Yes I remember them saying now they had to take the ferry thing over to the mainland. Not something I feel like doing...
