No, but you will get an invitation in your cabin before the event which will specify first or second sitting. If you don't like whichever sitting you've been allocated, the Maitre d' usually has a desk outside of the dining room on the morning of the Gala dinner (your Cruise News letter will give details of time/place - it's usually the sea day which will be Saturday on the Spirit's June itinerary) and you can just go and ask to change. We've never experienced a problem swapping if we've not got our preferred sitting. Both itineraries are fabulous. Enjoy!
