Any place to buy swim shirts in ft. lauderdale?

We will be cruising out of Ft. Lauderdale. I would like to know if anyone knows where to buy swim shirts? My father and husband are toooo white to go out without more of their bodies covered.

There are several stores in the beach area A1A that sell swim wear. You might want to try looking there.

B.C. Surf & Sport or Sports Authority may carry this in Fort Lauderdale. I've never heard of a swim shirt, but maybe they know where to get one.

Make sure they get plenty of sun lotion protection like at least a 40.

If you have a car, Ron Jon Surf Shop at Sawgrass Mills carries them. Cab fare would be about $100 round trip from the airport/port area.

I think the OP is looking for those tops that sometimes come with swimsuits. But why not just go to your local hometown sporting goods store that sells fishing gear and buy one of those sun protection shirts that are 30 SPF? Columbia makes them as do othe routdoor outfitters.

Many have long sleeves that can be rolled up if needed. They pack flat in suitcases. With lotion on underneath sunburn should be an issue.

Land's End has long sleeve rash guards for men right now, I am sure they will have short sleeve sometime soon. You can return items purchased online from Land's End to most Sears stores if you are not happy.
