Has anybody done a 2 night 'sampler' before and what do they do differently to the longer cruises? Is there a formal night at all? Is the entertainment as full-on in the nights as it usually is? Is there anyone out there doing this particular cruise (Melb to Sydney)?:cool:

Hi Did a 2 nighter on the Dawn Princess last June - everything is still the same as a longer cruise. There is no formal, however you could get "formal" photos taken throughout the ship on the 2nd night. First night's dinner is a bit of a schmozzle (spellin??) You should have a note in your cabin with regard to the timing etc - it was "open" for our cruise due to our sailaway time which clashed with one of the dinner times. You will find everything - bars etc to be a bit busier than a normal cruise due to everyone trying to cram as much into the 2 days a possible. Enjoy.
