Questions About Carnival Splendor Aft Balconies

We are getting ready to book a cruise on the Carnival Splendor and we know we want a balcony, (it will be our first balcony) but we have a few questions.

Are the aft balconies on the Splendor deeper then the other balconies?

Of the aft balconies are there some that are bigger then the rest (besides the wrap ones, I’ve figured that out)?

Since this is our first time having a balcony should we just stick with a regular balcony or go for the bigger ones?

Which deck would you choose if we decide on the aft? To be able to have some sun and some privacy?
