Beaches: Corfu v. Rhodes

Hello -

 

I would love some help trying to plan port visits in Rhodes and Corfu from those that have been before.

 

Looking to head to the beach at one of these ports. Can anyone share their opinion on which island has better beaches? We will be there early June.

We took the public bus to Paleokastrista for a part of the day. We also took the Grotto Boat tour while there. It is a nice respite from the crowds and was a relaxing day. We then walked around Old Town and the fort after returning from the beach. ---had to sample some of the kumquat liqueur. We really did not have any must sees in Corfu so that was a good day to relax at the beach.

Unfortunately, we did not go to Rhodes.
