Cruising Glory, leaving tommorow . . . thanks all

I am leaving tomorrow evening to catch our flight to Miami. Cruising on the Glory on Sunday, and just want to thank all who shared advice and encouragement to me as a first time cruiser.

I have attempted to learn all the lessons shared and we are looking much forward to this first experience, having been well prepared by this site.

Unfortunately my children saw a news clip on cnn today about a rogue wave hitting a cruise ship. I have told them it is rare, but they are a little concerned.

I am trusting that all will be well for us.

Have a wonderful time.

Please tell your children that the ship that got damaged was MUCH smaller than your ship, in fact 1/3 smaller.

The Glory can handle MUCH bigger waves than this easily. I was on the Carnival Dream with 30 foot waves and it wasn't that bad.

Bottom line, wave of that height are very rare and they need not worry at all.

Have a wonderful cruise.

All the best.

Mach
