Which Plantation House?

We're going to be doing a private tour of the island. It looks like there are 3 main "historical houses":

Sunbury Plantation, St. Nicholas Abbey, and Tyrol Cot

 

We'll be going with my kids (9 and 13) and my parents.

 

I think one gorgeous old house it probably enough- is there a big difference between them? I see that Tyrol Cot is supposed to have a "living history" area outside. My daughter has loved other living history museums- is this for real, or just a bunch of people selling stuff?

Never been to Tyrol cot & know nothing about it, but Sunbury is quite interesting for an hour or so, St. Nicholas has a film show of old Barbados.

My first choice was St. Nicholas however it was closed the day we toured.

Went to Sunbury instead - Very nice tour.

Thanks- I'm a little concerned that no one seems to know anything about Tyrol Cot- except the guidebook that I bought...
