B2B on Different Cruise Lines

Recommended Posts

Was wondering if this is doable.

Planning to cruise Oasis from Fort Lauderdale for one week.

After disembarkation at Fort Lauderdale, take a taxi or shuttle. But do not think I can take SAS to the Port of Miami.

At Port of Miami, board Epic for one week.

After disembarkation in Miami, take a shuttle, if available or taxi back to Fort Lauderdale.

In Fort Lauderdale say at Embassy Suites for one night.

Fly back home the next day.

Would prefer to fly out from Fort Lauderdale, as the last few times we fly from Miami, it was like a zoo.

Any one have any comments please.

Epic sails the day Oasis disembarks. Oasis is Eastern, and Epic is Western cruises

We did this last March/April and it was really fun! We used SAS Transportation for all our transfers, and they did a great job.

We sailed out of FLL the first time, got a hotel with a airport/cruise shuttle. Then, Pt. Everglades to POM with SAS, and SAS from POM to FLL airport.

We did Celebrity and RCCL b2b cruises.

Pcur:

Thanks for reply.

Do you know the cost of the SAS transfers.

Also, I guess you just sort of estimated what time you would be off the ship for them to pick you up.

Price was $15 each way per person.

They will tell you what time they can pick you up, and it will be approximate. They will want you off the ship as early as possible, though. They usually pick up at several ship that are docked the same day. Also, you may have to go to the airport for drop-off and pick-up, and then to the port for your second cruise. It will all happen in about 1 - 1.5 hours because the distances are pretty close.
