Cruizeguru Posted March 7, 2010 #2 Share Posted March 7, 2010 We are doing the Summit to Bermuda On July 11th. Does anyone know any good places to eat on the island. Have not been there in a while so I was wondering what is there now Hello RCICruiser!! I can tell you of four establishments in Bermuda that i personally ate at while in Bermuda in 2006 on the Grandeur, they are as follows. 1.) Hog Penny, very old establishment in Hamilton (take the ferry from Kings Warf to Hamilton) Get the "bangers and mash" its outstanding the best I have ever had!! 2.) Swizzle Inn, two locations one in St. George and the other in Back Bay? (google search) This is the home of the rum swizzle and you get to right your name on the wall inside the restaurant (look for p.k. wooten written behind the watercooler just inside the front door, thats me :D) 3.) There is a pub right at Kings Warf called Frog and Onion that the crew goes to (ask the crew) and they have an amazing selection of different beers. Must try the "Dark and Stormy" trust me, dark rum and ginger beer mixed=awesome 4.) Quick byte to eat but pretty good food right near the ship.....right when you walk around the dock towards land there is a little al fresco restaurant that me and a buddy ate at the first night in Bermuda after going to the Frog and Onion and it was pretty good. A couple memories from the trip, meeting the his Honor the Mayor of Hamilton at Hog Penny while eating lunch, getting drunk at Swizzle Inn and trying the beer sampler at Frog and Onion, all very memorable. Hope this Helped!!:D
