Category 11A - Dream March 2011

Well, we will officially book our 2nd Disney Cruise over the next couple of days for March 2011. Need help selecting a stateroom. We normally book a verandah room, but can't justify the pricing for 4 nights, so thought we would look at an inside room. We really won't be spending much time in there anyways. We are a family of 3 (2 adults and an 8 year old).

I think we would like to be on Deck 9. Our options are 9101 or 9543. 9543 is right beside the elevator and 9101 looks to be on it's own with a whole bunch of open space around it (based on DU's site and Dream map). Does anyone know what this open space is? Or there is 10545 available, again a bunch of open space around it. Or quite a few on Deck 8 (8089, 8141, 8583, 8589 and 8641). Please help!

Usually the open spaces on those diagrams indicate storage areas (linens, cleaning supplies, etc.) and machinery areas (such as air conditioning, electrical distribution, etc.)

Whatever you decide on, don't waste any time booking. We just called today for a May '11 cruise, and there were very slim pickings. The CM we dealt with told us that all bookings for the Dream have "taken off" over the last two or three weeks.

I know this is an old thread, but hoping the OP is still around. :)

Wondering what cabin you decided on as 9101 and 9543 are the same cabins we've got to choose from. 9101 on the map looks like it might be a smidge bigger, but you never can tell for sure on deck plans.
