Actually the first picture was taken at Sapphire Beach in St. Thomas.

Wow. And that looks like steel-reinforced concrete. I certainly can attest to the strength of Hurricane Wilma. She hit the Yucatan first, then veered north and then east to the Florida peninsula. In the Ft. Lauderdale area, we were without electricity for up to 3 weeks in many places; we did not have running water for the first to days after the storm in Ft. Lauderdale. Luckily, we had filled our bathtubs with water before the storm hit.........a good thing since pouring water down the toilet (with the aid of gravity) was the only way to flush it. I was humbled quite a bit those few weeks. Sometimes, you don't know how good you have it until you don't have it anymore.

So on night two of a five-day cruise, my friends Heath & Monica get me to start singing along in the piano bar (DW was in casino). Somehow we ended up doing Elton John's Tiny Dancer.

 

Heath's wife Monica took this pic on the last night of the cruise - at some point during the week, we were given the nickname "The Ohio Eltons"... LOL

I don't overpack the shoes, but definitely take way too many tops. Will have to work on that when I pack for my cruise in a few weeks. :D

As another poster said we women need options. I always pack too many shoes and tops and thats after I've gone through and minimized! Nice shoes though!:D
