Flight too early out of JAX?

Hi,

I have been looking and looking for flights for a good rate. Well, today's deal is from Memphis to Jax.

The departure flight the day before sailing is a great time.

 

But the return flight is the day we get off the ship. It leaves at 1:11 p.m. out of the Jax airport.

 

Before I book it, is that too early to debark and get to the airport?

I think your problem will be finding something to do at the airport while you wait for the flight time. Cruiseport is only 20 minutes or so from the airport. Unless the ship gets in late, you should be more than ok. That being said, we did have one cruise into jax where the whole city was fogged in and the ship had to sit offshore until 10 or so until the fog burned off. But that's very unusual. Go for it.

I lived in Jax. for 48 years before being transfered to Va.

You should have no problem making your flight,your only

20 mins. from the airport.Like Jack of Hearts said you'll

have more time trying to find something to do in the airport.

We always try to book early flights when we cruise,for some unknow

reason we usually get off the ship first and sit there trying to figure out what to do.

Our flights usually leave before noon, so we sit and watch other people and start

planning our mext cruise.

Thanks for the answers. I emailed my TA before I bought them. So now Im on the 1pm flight outta Jax. Im sure Ill take my time saying my goodbyes to my friends Im sailing with, and I love ppl watching. at Airports,resturants wherever,lol.
