Rare Tapi Posted March 11, 2010 #1 Share Posted March 11, 2010 Hi! We're looking at the mini suites on the Star Princess. Most of them are located on Dolphin deck (where passengers in higher decks can look down into your balcony), however there are a handful mini suites that are located on the Emerald deck aft, which seem to be covered. Looking at the deck plans though, there is a large lounge right underneath this location. Has anybody booked a mini suite in this location? Did you have any noise issues from the lounge? How about vibration issues? I've booked an aft cabin on other cruise lines and vibration problems have ranged from none, to terrible. Thanks for your input!! Any ship can have a vibration issue at any time.
Colo Cruiser Posted March 11, 2010 #3 Share Posted March 11, 2010 AD minis on Emerald deck are the best and they sellout fast as there are only 12. :D
Toto2Kansas Posted March 11, 2010 #4 Share Posted March 11, 2010 We have sailed in AD's many times on this ship. We have found that the further aft on port side, there is a chance of a bit of noise. So, if you can find one available that is closer to midship in that line of mini's, you have a lesser chance of vibration or noise from the lounge below. FYI, Port side all the way towards the aft seems to only have a few staterooms that can be effected by the noise from the club below, but it isn't all that bad.
