Dining on Carnival

Recommended Posts

We're very familiar with NCL's freestyle cruising/dining, does Carnival have something similiar or do they offer traditional dining? We now have 2 under 3 years old and freestyle would be better for us. We are considering Carnival for an upcoming cruise and this would be a deciding factor for us.

We have sailed with NCL several times, the Carnival Anytime Dining is very similar!! My wife and I just show up anytime between 5:30-9:15 and can get a two top. The worst that can happen is that if they are busy (7-7:30) you get a beeper and have to wait for 10-20 minutes. It works perfect for us.:)

Thanks for thre feedback so far.

I remember on NCL, we made reservations either the day before or morning of for dining since some restaurants got very busy. Can you make reservations on Carnival or you just show up and wait if needed with the beeper?

The "Your Time Dining" on Carnival is not like NCL. It's in the main dining room, not in specialty restaurants.

You can make reservations or just show up.
