We just found out that our ship itinerary has changed for March. We will now be on Nassau from 7-2 on Sunday. Can you recommend a public beach with restrooms? We don't want to pay for a day pass because we will at most be there for a couple of hours and there are 5 kids and 4 adults. Thanks for any suggestions.

The only public beach with restrooms that are open is Lighthouse Beach. It's located just west of downtown on Bay Street. It's calm waters.

This beach is the scene of many Spring Break parties, so beaware that it will be noisy and somewhat crowded.
