Vancouver Aquarium

We were there this past summer with our 9 & 11 year olds. One of the nicest aquariums we've been to. We also added on something with a trainer - I forget what it's called, but you get to go "behind the scenes" with a trainer (you have a choice of a couple of different animals), learn more about them and feed them. It was pretty interesting.

Does anyone have an opinion on the Vancouver Aquarium? We (Mom. Dad & 12 yo Daughter) are thinking of spending the day there in July prior to our cruise.

Used to be rated among one of the best in North America when I was living in Vancouver..not sure how it rates now..but still a great attraction.

It's right in Stanley Park, so you can do both in the same day. A walk on the sea-wall is very nice on a nice Vancouver day.

Don't hesitate to take your family, you'll have a wonderful time. Just by the walk way to the aquarium is a kiosk where you can purchase tickets that include the acquarium and a ride through Stanley Park on a horse drawn wagon. It worth doing both of these trips (and cheaper if you combine). Enjoy your stay and cruise.
