Destiny WiFi

On any cruise ship, even though there is usually WiFi, it is very sloooooowwww.

Think 33K or even 11K dial-up speeds. The satellite system is slow on a good day, and there is a lot of demand for not much bandwidth. Take your own laptop of use the ship's computers, it is all the same.

Many people will draft emails offline, and then simply upload them when you connect.

I took a digital class and was given 20 minutes of connect time with the deal. I was going to give the time to someone we were taking tours with, but the instructor asked me if I needed to get boarding passes for a flight. That simple process took almost the entire 20 minutes!
