Bus or train from Nuremberg to Prague?

We are traveling on Uniworld this May and want to extend our stay in Germany by going to Prague.

 

Question how do we get from Nuremberg to Prague?

While you can purchase the tickets through the Deutche Bahn (railroad), the trip will be on a bus.

Does your cruise end in Nuremberg? If so, you can take a train or a bus to Prague. You can even hire a private driver to take you.

 

Or does your package include the Prague extension and if so, you will travel on to Prague by a motorcoach, which actually was very nice.

 

Last year when we sailed on AMAdante, a bus was waiting for us in Nuremberg and took us to Prague with a stop in Karlovy Vary for a break. We walked around town, shopped, ate, had a beer and even got a little tour in from our guide.

 

If I remember correctly, it took us about 5 hours?

(We paid the cruise tour bus on AMA, since we only did the cruise only pkg)
