Using Your iPhone to Broadcast your Sail Away Party over the Internet

For the techie Greeks in the group...

There is a free webiste that allows you to stream live video from your computer over the internet. It is called WWW.USTREAM.TV This site now has an applications for your smartphone. It allows you to send live video from you phone to anyone on the interenet. This means you can broadcast your Sail Away pary to all your friend back at home only using your smartphone (iPhone, Android). This will work until you get out of port and away from the land cell towers. You just need to give the website for your streaming video to your friend. I'm going on the IOS in 3 weeks and may give it a try.

 

Has anyone tried this before? All you need is a smartphone.
