Sell out?

I see folks mentioning that their ship is nearly sold out. How do they know this?

you can go to carnival.com and do a "fake booking" for the sailing you are on. As cabin categories are sold out you won't be able to see them anymore. Once most are gone it's almost sold out! :)

Go to any of the popular travel web sites (or Carnival's own site), and try to book a cruise for the week you're interested in. If you don't see cabins available for certain cabin categories, it's because there's none left.

 

Then just close the browser before you get to the final confirmation step.

Thanks for your replies. I wasn't sure quite how they did that. I truly appreciate it and intend to give it a try. Hopefully, the fact that I'm paid in full will not make a different with Carnival.

You can also call a PVP and ask them. They can tell exactly what cabins are still open. Mine also keeps notes on cabins that he sells after getting feedback from his customers. Sometimes comes up with some nice inside information.

how did you get that really great ticker? I went on tickerfactory and they weren't so great, and I couldn't get it to load to my signature.
