Help With Beach in Antigua

We want to go to Turner beach when we dock in St John's. Can someone tell us, how far away is it from the pier?

 

Also, how much is a taxi to the beach?

 

Does Turner beach have bathrooms and chair rentals?

yes rentals, toilets, food & drinks, cab probably $50 round trip as it's not very close. At this time of year the beach there usually has clearer water than the North-West beaches which can get pretty cloudy during the winter.... good food down the beach at OJs too.

Choosing between Turners beach and Castaway beach for the first week in March which would you recommend? Is the water clear at both of these beaches this time of year? Thank you!
