Unfortunately, they do not put those carpets in the elevators of the Vista Class ships.

I will be on an R Class ship in July and so I will see them again.

 

The Zaandam will be in Kona. That means they will be spending their last day in Hawaii today. It is always sad to leave Hawaii. The trip home is long but filled with memories of a great place.

Okay, Bill, since we know you personally, we will forgive you...

Nieuw Amsterdam has been listed since February 1. Every day, the same position. HAL added it to the spreadsheet on Feb 1, so our report added it, too!

 

I wish they would indicate when sea trials are to occur. Maybe Krazy Kruizers can post a press release with a report after those happen.

 

Have you booked your next cruise yet? ... ETA... I just saw a detail in your signature. April 2010 on Celebrity?

 

We will be onboard the Ryndam... SOON! We leave for Tampa on April 2. In fact, we have to start the packing process a little bit today. I think Mom already has everything packed for Dad and her!

 

Speaking of leaving...

Since DH and I will be at sea :D and dealing with those last minute details in the few days before, we have temporarily passed the torch to the capable hands of Laffnvegas until we return. This may mean that the daily post will be later than our usual posting time (due to her work schedules and the time zone difference). [Thanks, Lisa, for handling this again.]

Yes, we are sailing on the Celebrity Infinity through the Panama Canal! Our cruise starts April 11th and sails from San Diego to Fort Lauderdale. We will board an Amtrak train in Santa Ana, CA and ride the train to San Diego. There, we will wheel our bags about 4 blocks to the ship! We have a nice CC Roll Call going too! Wish you were with us but you will be finishing your Ryndam that day!
