What is Kamikaze Karaoke?

I saw it in a caper and was wondering just what Kamikaze Karaoke is? Sounds like fun....

I use to drink Kamakazie's so it sounds like the room will be spinning while you are trying to sing. ROFL :)

its where a song is picked at random and the person has to sing it.. whether you know the song or not.. it can make for some great comedy.

if the karaoke host is really good, they can pick a perfect song for those who have sung in karaoke all cruise.....

Those that have enjoyed Carnival and RCCL from Galveston know the master of this comedy is Derek Lewis.

 

He started this on the Rhapsody and carried it over to the Voyager.

Thanks for the info! My oldest DS has been watching that show Singing Bee on CMT, so it kinda sounds like that. From what yall said,sounds like something Id have a ball doing. I sing like broke legged dogs howling,but it sure is fun!!!:p

I LOVE Kamikaze Karaoke!!! Especially after you've been singing already with the KJ and they get to know you!

Kamikize karaoke is also good for those who might be shy about singing since the kj will call up groups as well. It was a lot of fun on our last cruise.

we have done that a couple of times where i go to sing and it can be hilarious. we'v also picked each other's songs. i sounded so funny singing that's amore' :cool:

Rozwin is a great Karaoke Host, and he enjoys gettting to know people.

 

On the Fantasy, the first hour we had very few people, so another guy and I put on a performace a couple of nights.

 

He is very knowledgable of the music and great at getting the crowd involved.

Loved Derek, is he still with RCI?, I wish he would switch to carnival.:)
