big_duck Posted March 22, 2010 #1 Share Posted March 22, 2010 Just came back from a week at an AI in PdC. Our on-site Tour rep was warning everyone that there have been a lot of problems lately with cards numbers used in PdC being "stolen". They highly recommend that all transactions in town be cash only.
MA cruisers Posted March 22, 2010 #2 Share Posted March 22, 2010 Thanks for the heads up. What AI were you at? My daughter and her husband are going to the Royal for their honeymoon in September. Any good tours you can recommend?
sdp123078 Posted March 22, 2010 #3 Share Posted March 22, 2010 The Royal is wonderful! I've stayed there twice and would go back again in a heartbeat.
big_duck Posted March 22, 2010 Author #4 Share Posted March 22, 2010 Stayed at the Sunset Princess, and we too would go back in a heartbeat. We just did one excursion then combined the Coba ruins, a swim in a Cenote plus a visit to a Mayan village, very educational (for one thing, now I know what a real tortilla tastes like). Snorkel2Much Posted April 5, 2010 #5 Share Posted April 5, 2010 Thanks for the heads up. What AI were you at? My daughter and her husband are going to the Royal for their honeymoon in September. Any good tours you can recommend? We stayed next door to the Royal at the Gran Porto Real A/I. Pricey - Mrs S2M and Miss S2M did the "Primax" Dolphin swim at Delphinus and both agreed it was their favorite excursion ever. I watched, not my thing. Inexpensive - We also took a cab on our own to Akumal Bay, rented snorkel gear and swam with turtles all day. (That's in my Top 5 favorite excursions)
