Kiel Canal Tour with Princess

Has anyone done the excursion offered by Princess while the ship is going through the Kiel Canal. We've reserved this tour as we don't want to sit on the ship all day while it goes through the canal. The excursion claims ' you enter and exit the ship via a steep, narrow gangway'. Does anyone know how steep and narrow? The steep and narrow doesn't bother me, it's the 'how much are they talking height wise'? I have an extreme fear of heights and really need to psych myself up.
