Dog Drool Posted March 24, 2010 #1 Share Posted March 24, 2010 I am thinking of the December 17 Westerdam Caribbean couple of questions It is a 2 seven day B2B sold as a 14 day over Christmas will it be over run with children In general are the kids on Hal better supervise then say RC or Carnival? As a solo will I be more out of place on a holiday cruise?

I would surmise that there will be a high number of children on both segments ... multi-generational holiday celebrations and school holidays at that time. If you look back through the pages of the HAL Boards (or do a search), or even go to the Cruise Critic Home page and read the reviews for the same time frame there. T There were several reviews about the Collector's Cruise over the Thanksgiving and Christmas Holidays in 2009. Not one of them mentioned (that I can remember) badly behaved kids or being overrun with kids, though at times there were upwards of 300 children aboard.
