Introducing myself and asking about the Elation and some questions about our first cruise. That was in 2002. The old days when we used to get our Docs in the mail. That was always exciting. Then we would come on to CC and announce "Got Docs woohoo" Remember?

My very first post was also the very first thread I started.... I was asking about the Carnival Glory, we were planning to cruise her at the time. We ended up booking the Miracle out of NY instead, due to my kids sports schedules, but I have been a fan of CC ever since.

You can tell by my post count, I am mostly a lurker. I try to only ask questions that I have not seen answered before, and I only answer questions if no one else has answered yet, and I have something useful to contribute.

I found cruise critic prior to my sailing on the Ecstasy last February. I was going solo and wanted to know as much as possible. I did come back and leave my review and have tend to come here when I am booked on a cruise.
