Bringing Drinks on board

Offical policy says no drinks of any kind to be brought on board subject to confistication and return at end of cruise. I packed my scotch in my rum runners and 1.5 liters of wine in my checked bags. Carried a 6 pack of 24oz. cola on top of my rollon. No problem. Tap water on board is better than most bottled water, take a water bottle and fill it before you go ashore. Bill

aas OKbowler says the official policy is that you can't but the security personnel don't (hardly ever) enforce it. You could however be unlucky and get a guy who knows the rules and is going to make sure he keeps them.

On all of my cruises (and it's a lot) I have always brought a few bottles of Snapple and a few bottles of Perrier with me. I have never had them taken away from me upon boarding.

We're going to be on Poesia April 10th and I have every intention to again bring those items with me and we'll see what happens.

This is what I was thinking as well. Packing few bottles of my drink of choice knowing that they may be taken. Worth a try anyway. We too are sailing Apr 10 so we may be in contraband trouble together..lol
