Canada/NE at the end of August

We booked the CB out of NYC for August 28. Not fall yet but not summer either. Can someone please advise on what to expect for weather.

We sailed over Labor Day weekend in 2006 and have it booked again this year. The first sea day you never would have guessed we were on a Canada cruise - it was sunny and warm and the Lido deck was mobbed. The next day in port was cool, and the day after that we sailed through the remnants of a tropical storm. My best advice is to be prepared for any type of weather - bring slacks and a jacket as well as tees and shorts.
